There will also be an open mic session for the many talented musos who will be attending, so bring your instruments with you for your moment in the limelight and/or the jam sessions upstairs.....
If you'd like to play, please send me a wee message beforehand, so that I can estimate the time to allow for this.

We'll feed you up with delicious freshly made sushi and hearty winter soups....
This is an R18 event, however under 18yr olds are welcome with parental supervision and it will run through till 10pm Sunday.

$30 per ticket includes your meal
Parking around the side of the hall and at the rear
No alcohol to be brought onsite please.

For those who are unaware of the motivation behind this gathering, We are in the throngs of organising a musical aid mission for Vanuatu called the Vanuatu Music Revival Project, collecting people's guitars and ukuleles that are lying gathering dust around their homes and sending them via sailing yachts (with the Drifting Circus) into the hands of people on the islands of Vanuatu who lost all their instruments in cyclone PAM.

If you have an instrument to donate, or know someone who does, please bring it along with you.

As the project has really picked up momentum, I've decided to make a documentary about the voyage and showing how important music is to these communities, how it unites people of different cultures and can be an incredible healing tool after such a disaster..... as you can imagine the Drifting Circus are going to jam with the locals when they deliver the instruments and bring a lot of smiles to the islands, sharing their art and discovering more along the way.....
